Adama Diomande reveals that manager Steve Bruce convinced him to join Hull City.
Hull completed the transfer of Diomande from Norwegian club Stabæk on transfer deadline day with the striker adding some bite to the Tigers’ attacking lineup.
Now Diomande has revealed that it was Bruce’s influence that convinced him to come to the KC Stadium and added that he simply could not turn down the offer from the Tigers.
“It was the right offer that you can not turn down. It was the right for both me and Stabæk,” told Diomande to Budstikka.
“I’ve talked to Steve Bruce. And he was a legend in Manchester United. He has given me a clear message that it is going to go well, and I’ve got the impression that he’s a pretty nice guy who want the best for me.
“When the opportunity came up I just had to take it. Of course. They have the ambition of going straight up again into the Premier League.”
