Newcastle United boss Steve McClaren has no plans to sell Rolando Aarons.
Aarons was wanted by QPR last week in a deal for Charlie Austin.
The Daily Star says Newcastle have no intention of selling fan favourite Aarons with McClaren revealing last week that his future was on Tyneside.
When asked whether Aarons’ future was with the club, McClaren answered: “Absolutely, without a doubt.”
Newcastle are now set to talk to Aarons about a new contract.
He has been linked with Manchester City and Liverpool in the last 12 months but has yet to start a Premier League game for the club.
